Wyndham Hotel Roanoke, VA?
 

I've used Priceline several times and consider myself a fairly knowledgeable bidder, but PL outfoxed me this time and upgraded me to the Wyndham in Roanoke. The TripAdvisor reviews of this hotel are uniformly abominable. If by chance you've stayed there, is there anything positive to report?

I'm originally from Roanoke and if it's the one near the airport, I think it's really nice. My sister had her reception there which was great and she spent the night and enjoyed the room - this was about 3-4 years ago.

if you want any other recommendations for Roanoke - let me know - I love it there and miss it terribly.

in Penn Forest area - went to Cave Spring HS - graduated 1990. what a small world! I also waitressed for many years at the Roanoker - yum - I still miss their biscuits!
