Wrightsville Beach, NC
 

We are looking at Wrightsville Beach for the first week in June. Could anyone suggest a nice, clean place to stay on the beach, not too pricey. We're not looking for anything fancy, just clean and well-run. Thanks!

Define pricey. The Hilton Garden Inn is $129 to $149 per night.
That's the one that I saw that had an excellent review 8.7/10.

The beach in high summer is never cheap. It just isn't.

Check vrbo. Many NC schools do not let out till mid-June so you may be ahead of the rush.

Our last day of school (in Charlotte) is June 7th. Not sure how many you have going but prices may be cheaper the first of June as cmcfong mentioned....vrbo is the way to go also. Hard to answer specifically w/out number of participants & a budget...Wrightsville wouldn't be in my top 10 beaches in NC either.
