Would a traveler, as opposed to a tourist, be more or less likely to sacrifice a goat?

I will sacrifice that young girl seated in front of me, who's long hair was in my face!

or the screaming, out of control 6 yr old flying unaccompanied who wouldn't stop kicking the seat in from of him.

I don;t think the question is if you will kill for it - I think if it's you'll pay for it.

You can get great service if you pay enough. But, bargain rates (look at the inflation in airfare over the past 20 years versus almost anything else) get you bargain service.
