Wolfgant Puck's Cafe in Seattle?

My husband & I will be traveling to Seattle from Santa Rosa, CA via auto in late May, early Jun. We have taken advantage of a package offered thru 4 Sisters Inns which includes a voucher for this restaurant. I have never seen it mentioned as a good place to eat in Seattle--please let me know if you would recommend it. Thanx!

Spago it ain't - but it's okay. Located on busy First Ave. a block from the Pike Market, it's more a diner than a fancy sit-down (Puck's attempt at high-end dining in Seattle, the unlamented Obachine, went down faster than Bill Gates' net worth.) It has interesting pizzas and a good burger. But frankly with so many good and non-chain places available in the blocks around (and in) the market, its chief advantage to you will be the price.

I absolutely 2nd what John said. I have eaten at the cafe for lunch and have always enjoyed it but don't think I would do dinner there as there are just so many GREAT places in Seattle.

P.S I for one really miss Obachine and their whole pan fried catfish!

Wolfgang Puck's Cafe is a chain and can be found in many cities - atleast on the west coast. It's an ok place for lunch. If you have a voucher from your hotel, there'd be no reason to let it go to waste.
