Winter Weekend-northern CA - Inn at the Tides or Sea Ranch Lodge?

Which would you recommend for a long winter weekend of relaxing with a good book and a glass of wine (and my husband) by a fire?

They are both great, but Sea Ranch is so peaceful, so I say Sea Ranch.

Be sure and stop by the Sea Ranch chapel; it's a cool little building.

I've never been to Sea Ranch, but my favorite is Bodega Bay Lodge. I prefer it to the Inn at the Tides. Check it out.

Two thumbs down on Inn at the Tides-
no comparison to the Sea Ranch Lodge!
Two thumbs up for Bodega Bay Lodge,
and I would suggest you consider
the Breakers Inn,
a cottage at St. Orres
or the Whale Watch Inn all in
Gualala. We do this frequently as we love our mini-trips to the coasr.
Enjoy!

Another vote for the Bodega Bay Lodge and Spa! Beautiful property, excellent service and a very nice restaurant, The Duck Club there. ***kim***

I've been both places and while I'd agree Bodega Bay Lodge is a very fine property in a pretty and peaceful spot, I would choose Sea Ranch as having a much more spectacularly beautiful setting. It looks directly out to sea, rather than over a small bay, and is in one of the most scenic stretches of the entire coast.

Just viewed the website for Sea Ranch Lodge, www.searanchlodge.com It's gorgeous! Now, why have I not heard of this place before?

It looks like a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Have fun! ***kim*** After the rain, comes the

We were at the Sea Ranch many years ago and we loved it. I cannot wait to get there - alas, we are not going until March 1st.
