The Renault Winery in Little Egg Harbor (south) has good wines, an interesting tour and a lovely restaurant to have dinner. Plus it's near the shore so if it's a good weekend you might get in some beach time.

Alternately, we did a day trip up to Dutchess county NY from Northern NJ and there are a number of interesting wineries in that area as well. Made for a very nice fall day trip. We visited Clinton Vinyards & Millbrook Vinyards, and I believe there are at least 2 additional ones in the same vicinity.

Renault is our favorite - the grounds are beautiful, staff is nice and you are at peace when you are there. Do not pass up the Sunday Brunch - elegant with food that I would pay $40 per person to eat (easily) but it is priced around $18.95 per person.

mpd1234, if you're looking for a taste of all the NJ wineries, check out the Garden State Wine Growers festival this weekend!
