Radio City show

I just bought tickets for the Christmas Show which are in the 2nd mezz row G. I understand that you cannot really see the show from there. Can tickets be upgraded at Radio City the day of the show if there are better ones available?

If you couldn;t get better tcikets now I doubt there will be better ones still available on the day of the show - unless some tour operator has a bunch of unused ones for some reason.

There are still much better tickets available, I just chose to get less expensive ones which I now regret. Do they ever let you trade them in at the box office and pay the difference for better seats the day of show?

If you want to trade them in why not try to do it now? the chances better tickets will be there at the time of performance are not good if you're going on a weekend or very near the holidays.

Have you received the tickets? Usually they clearly state "Not Refundable, Not Exchangeable".

If your tickets have not been printed yet, you may get lucky if you phone customer service. They may agree to cancel that order if you're purchasing pricier tickets. Wouldn't hurt to try.

I wouldn't recommend waiting until the day of the show, when there may not be better seats available.

Thanks djkbooks, I called customer service at Ticketmaster and she upgraded the seats since tickets were not mailed yet. I hope now I am not too close. Got center stage Orchestra Row NN. I guess it's about 14 rows back.

Ah yes. I see you already got the help you needed. I was once told by ticketmaster that you are allowed to exchange tickets once without charge -- normally, despite what it may say to the contrary on the "contract".

drh: I'm so glad you were successful! You will be positively thrilled with Center of Row NN (we've been in Row ZZ and a bit closer would have been a bit better.
