Willow Grove/Philly-Sports Bar
 

Hey sports fans, I need to find a sports bar/restaurant where my family can watch the Bills/Jets game on Sunday afternoon (10/12, 4 pm) in the Philly area. We will be staying in Willow Grove, PA, so places near there would be preferable. Thanks.

Since this is a major suburban interchange, there should be plenty of hotel bars in the area--I am sure you can catch the game in any of those spots. The only caveat is, of course, if an Eagles game is on at the same time. We're very loyal fans here in Philly! :-)

Julies, at 680 Easton Rd, Horsham, 215-442-1965, which is near WG, is a steakhouse where there are TVs in the bar and smoking area. The portions are huge. Check it out. ((B))

Thanks. Sounds like Julies will be perfect. Our game is on at 4 so I dont think it will interefere with the Eagles (who soundly beat my beloved Bills a couple of weeks ago).

The Bills lost big time! Julie's did not carry the game. Too bad, it sounded great. We did have breakfast at a diner near Julies-20 relatives from all over the US and even a couple from overseas. The staff at our hotel called several places and we ended up at a place called Mike's which was very accomodating and had decent food (burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc). Besides the family parties we were there for, we had a great Saturday morning trip visiting the Italian Market in Philadelphia. Also, my golf obsessed husband and kids found a great golf store in the King of Prussia Mall.
