Williamsburg, VA; boat tour and/or golf recs?
We'll be in Williamsburg next week; have already done Colonial Williamsburg. Looking for suggestions for a water-based "tour" of the area. Preliminary web searches haven't been too fruitful. Two adults, no kids this time. Day time or dinner cruise would be ok.
Also looking for recommendations for a ~$50 or less per round golf course in the Williamsburg area.
We'll have 1 to 1.5 days in the area and are staying at Greensprings Vacation Resort because we have the in-law's timeshare.
Thanks in advance.

Hey - I'm with Insider's Passport and I think you should try out the Miss Hampton II Cruises tour in Hampton. It's a great water-based daytime cruise of the Hampton Roads Harbor. Very cool. Have fun! GP

I haven't sailed on it but there is a sailboat goes out of Yorktown, 20 minutes from Williamsburg.

There used to be other boats, one was the Miss Yorktown, but I can't find any mention of them now.
I'll have to research the golf courses and get back to you.

Check on afternoon rates at Stonehouse, Royal New Kent, and Kiskiak.

Of course, National is right there at Greensprings and there is a public course about 20 minutes away in Newport News that isn't bad at all.
