Williamsburg at christmas

looking for any input on a possible vacation in Williamsburg at Christmas time. We just returned from a week there and loved it but are wondering what it is like in the winter.

Is everything still open? What restaurants close down, etc. please help.

Christmas is a busy time in Wmbg. Everything is open and there are lots of special programs added specially for the holidays. The Colonial Wmbg website has all the details.

Shops and restaurants have shorter hours in Jan/Feb during the really slow season.

Williamsburg typically has decorated for christmas and is really neat during the holiday season

What's the weather typically like at Christmas?

Living a lifetime in the area, it could be 70 degrees and sunny, warm and rainy, a blizzard, an ice storm, or anything in between! Sorry!
