Williamsburg area restaurants?

I will be spending Easter weekend in Williamsburg and would like restaurant recommendations for a family-friendly (8 and 13 year olds) moderate to high-moderate range. I am especially interested in restaurants specializing in seafood. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Karen,

We were in Williamsburg last October and our favorite was Cities Grille which is in a small shopping center at the corner of John Tyler Hwy. and Monticello Ave. We just stumbled upon it, but it definitely was where "the locals ate". We would return there in a minute.

On the other hand, my sister-in-law vacationed with her children last June and loved Captain George's Seafood Restaurant. I cannot speak from personal experience. Her children loved the place. It's one of those All-You-Can-Eat Buffets. I've heard some others recommend it as well.

Hope this helps a little

Correction...Cities Grille is located at John Tyler Hwy. and Ironbound Rd in The Governor's Green Shopping Center.

Second Street Market is affordable, good restaurant that is casual, family-friendly, on Second Street not far from Kingsmill. The Trellis serves French cuisine and is divine, esp the desserts. The chef has written several cookbooks including one called "Death by Chocolate". The Colonial Williamsburg taverns are always good for atmosphere. 2 local chains that are good include Cracker Barrel & Shoney's, both off Route 60 near the outlet malls. Avoid the williamsburg Friendly's - always slow service! Go to Baskin-Robins for ice cream instead.
