Why is this discussion any less racist than asking whether whites will be uncomfortable at a resort dominated by Hispanics, Asians, or blacks?

I know this is an old post but I feel the need to respond anyways. I have been living in the OBX for a few years and your family would be just as welcome as a family of any other background. The visitors here are mostly white but I see several families of other races also over the summer. Most people here are very friendly and would see you as a "family" and not an "african american family".
