Will teenagers be bored at Seaside?

My sons are 13 & 16. They enjoy sports such as soccer, baseball ,basketball& all watersports. They also love listening to there music & playing video games. Do you think they will get board at Seaside?
Anyone advice would be greatly appreciated.

Seaside? Seaside Heights, NJ? If the latter, they will love all the freaks that roam the boardwalk. The certainly won't get bored. ((b))

Oh, and neither will they. ((b))

Budman, Sorry about that, I meant Seaside Florida.

gmt, they won't be bored. We've been going to Seaside for years and our kids (14 and 16) love it. If you want to read some other posts about Seaside, type in Seaside in the text search box. You'll come up with a fair bit. I answered a post entitled "Help w/ Panhandle vacation rental" that might be helpful to you, since it was from a family with kids also. Which cottage are you renting?

Nope, they won't be bored. Just the beach/ocean itself is enough, but there is so much more. Seaside has a small town atmosphere. You will probably feel comfortable letting them rent bikes and go where they like (and it's not that big so it's not like they'd be far away, either!)

We bought boogie boards (you can get wooden ones but we just bought $10 ones) when we were there a couple of years ago and my kids spent hours riding those. They sell them all around there.

Naw,they won't be bored...esp if,after dinner, you drive them over to PCB and cruise up/down Thomas Dr! Does the 16yr old have his DL?

I wouldn't think so! My family has been going to that area for almost 20 years. I spent many a teenaged spring break there, as did my cousins (male and female) and everyone had a good time. At worst, there's always a day trip to Panama City Beach or to Destin for miniature golf. There are bikes to rent in Seaside, plenty of hiking in the nearby national parks...
