Will Hawaii November Fares Drop?

I'm looking for a LAX/HNL fare and they're so high! Should I take the plunge and book now or wait and hope they fall? I don't want all the seats to be full.

Hawaii experts, what do you think??

I just checked out american airlines. They were $530.00 from lax to hnl in november. I used 11/4 - 11/14 for dates. it's usually cheaper to fly mid week. Is that amount a lot from the west coast? We live on the east coast and got a fare of $770.00 in september, which is a great fare for us. It does seem a bit high for you. I wouldn't count on anything with the airlines. Last year they were just about giving away flights and this year it's been just awful as far as prices. We were really lucky to get the fare that we did, when we did.

Try this website.
http://www.travelfleamarket.com/special.php
They have an ad for a flight from LAX-HNL from August till December for $339 but you have to leave either on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. Hope this helps you. Goodluck!

Unless your dates are around Thanksgiving, I would wait and see.

P.S. - $530 is very high for LAX-HNL

Chris,

Check travelocity. For instance, last week, they offered an incredibly low fare from SFO-HNL for $275 (including taxes) on United. These fares were good from late August to early December.

In addition, Hawaiian Air was running ads for fares below $400.

Good luck.
