Wiehle-Reston East metro parking
Has anyone done multi day parking at the Wiehle-Reston East station? We're headed to NYC via train on a Tuesday. The train leaves Union Station at 8:40, so I'm wondering what my chances are of snagging a multi day spot at, say, 6am. It's the cheapest option to get into DC from Leesburg but there are only 15-17 spaces at the station for multi day use.
Thanks!

If you get to Wiehle and there are no spots, you could drive into Arlington and park at the Ballston Mall garage. You might want to call them to verify that they allow multi-day parking (which I think they do, but I've never done it). It's only $10 for a 24-hour period.
From Ballston, you can take Metro, cab or Uber to Union Station.
Here's a link to their website: http://transportation.arlingtonva.us...arking-garage/
(I park for shopping, dining, etc. at Ballston Mall but I haven't done it for more than a few hours. There are always plenty of parking spaces and the garage is patrolled.)

Just wanted to give an update in case it might be useful to future readers. We parked in the metro lot on Reston Station Blvd. (near Wiehle metro). The multi day spaces are not marked as far as my husband and I could tell. We drove around the entire garage and never saw a multi day sign. Nuts. I had assumed they would be marked electronically since Wiehle has 15-17 multi day spots per the WMATA website. Nada. I finally called WMATA and the operator told us G7, the yellow level, had multi day spots, so we left the car there and it was still there late the next day. A little puzzling but worked out well. And only $4.75 to park from about 7am one day until 8pm the next. Can't beat that!
