Why was the Concorde Flying Over New Jersey?
This morning at 8:30 I was waiting for the bus when there was a roar up above, not loud enough to be an F-16 but too loud to be a regular airliner. I looked up and saw the Concorde flying in the flight path which would take it to Newark Airport. Only problem is that the Concorde doesn't fly into Newark. This is the first time in 6 years that I have seen the Concorde in the Newark flight path. Does anyone have an explanation?

By the way, even though it was in New Jersey, the Concorde was not wearing plaid.

Aahh-but the Concorde knows the secret about all the really cool people that do live in NJ and perhaps is trying to tempt them to come fly with him?
And if anyone has looked lately, NJ folks wear a lot of black, that will get you in anywhere!

There was too much fog for it to land at JFK so it had to land at Newark.

Air France 002 was re-routed to Newark this morning. It took off from Newark to JFK at about 1 pm.

According to the Air France website, this flight was scheduled today to go CDG-EWR-JFK. Not sure why.

It's British, of course no plaids.

I'll tell you, it's always a thrill to see the Concorde, especially when you're standing at the bus stop in a state it normally doesn't fly. What a surprise.

Are you sure the mob didn't reroute it to take the Gambino family to Vegas?
