Just a few days after April (May 4th - does that count?) my husband and I are going to Treasure Island, Florida for a few days of "alone" time in the sun. We'll take our son on vacation during the summer. This one is for us!

Staying put all month for a great reason: saving some greens for Switzerland in May!

Rescheduled our long weekend with relatives in Dallas for April after it was cancelled at Thanksgiving due to being snowed in!

I leave for Paris on April 1st!! :-)

Boston for 11 days--includes Elderhostel Program "Art and Architecture of Boston"
Leave in 2 weeks...Hope the weather improves--but then again I'll be so glad to get away I don't really care...

A long weekend, believe it or not, in Dublin, Ireland, to surprise a friend who will be singing in a concert there; followed quickly by my annual long weekend in NYC with my sister and daughter...whew.

Unfortunately no where in April, but doing my plans for Antigua this fall, to follow after the UK.

Hello, too bad you can't get out and go somewhere in April!! We are going to Phoenix on April 1. Then San Francisco April 16 and then back to Phoenix April 29th!! Can't wait, what a fun month!!!

Leaving for Paris and Ireland April 5! Will be gone through the 15th and I am so excited! It's my first time out of the country and I can't wait... For those of you visiting Vegas, quick tip: Take a cab off strip to the Rio hotel and eat at their Carnival Buffet. You'll be glad you did!

Naples, FL - Lafayette, LA (ugh)- Philly - New Orleans - Athens, GA - and back to DC. Should be a fun (and warm) April, though reading all these posts makes me so jealous! Enjoy all!

can't believe it but my husband and i are leaving a week from today for my first trip ever to istanbul. will be spending the first week of april there and the second week in tel aviv. two different climates - exciting trip but nightmare packing !!

Portugal - here I come!

Going on my first buying trip to that country - hunting down hand-made ceramics. Yay! First time there and looking forward to it.

Yes, we hope so! It's our first trip with her as well. I've got the air tickets, but I'm having trouble with the hotel part. I usually stay with a friend, so the hotel booking is overwhelming to me. Think I should get a suite if possible so we have room for all 3 of us. Anybody want a housesitter in Manhattan April 21-26? We're GREAT with animals!

Marilyn, I know that when my DH's daughter was about 10 we started getting suites at hotels, when possible. It was nice to have our privacy in a separate bedroom at night and our own TV, while she slept on the sofa sleeper and had her own TV, as well. It kept us from having to watch too many cartoons when we were in the room. ;)

Milan, St. Moritz/Davos to ski, and on to Zurich/Lucerne! Then my husband goes to Japan the end of the month, so I'll live vicariously through him.

Portland for business and Disneyland and California Adventure with the kiddos for fun!

Pretty tame for now but I'm dreaming of planning next big trip to Switaerland and Italy.

I'm going to Mal Pais, Costa Rica aka Paradise! A Big Surprise in store for my girlfriend at a romantic place called Casa Chameleon...already have some plans made to give her a little story book romance-it's so hard to keep a secret! I'll definite write a trip report to tell how it all worked out. Wish me luck:)

Guess I'm doing your "tour" of duty as well as my own in April. If I combine my work travel schedule with vacation, then the itinerary for April is....San Francisco, Las Vegas, Omaha, New York, Omaha (again), Shanghai and San Francisco (again). Then again, I could stay home...nah!!!

Just a girls weekend here in Portland, but it will be fun.

SFImporter--You will love Portugal! I bought way too much stuff there and still remember tossing hair products, blow dryer, etc. just so I could get everything in my bags to get home.
