OK I can't take this anymore!!! At the risk of asking a really stupid question, what does ttt mean?? I have seen in on these boards a lot and have no idea so now I am asking.

ttt is "to the top". I topped the post to keep it visible because I also would like to know what anyone thinks of White Sands Village. But it looks like maybe there aren't going to be any replies.

Aloha,

A question for you, are you familiar with White Sands Village? If so, what can you tell me?

Chuck, I'm sorry I don't have any info about White Sands Village. It is a place i have thought about staying on a future trip.

I visited the Big Island about 12 years ago, and we camped in the national park. we didn't spend any time on the Kona side, except that we went to a very small park and ate a picnic lunch. The coastline there was just stunning, I thought. Down the beach I could see a building so close to the water that it was IN the surf, which I later learned is the Kona magic Sands hotel. Returning to that spot and spending a few days is something I hope to do someday. White Sands village is right across the street from Kona Magic sands, so it's on my list of future stay possibilities.

good luck with your research and your trip.
