Which would you choose for an NFL game: Atlanta or Jacksonville?

I'm planning a trip with a friend to see my favorite football team (NY Giants) play this fall, either in Atlanta or Jacksonville. Ideal would be a fun stadium atmosphere, and good proximity to hotels and restaurants so we don't have to drive. (We'll most likely only be there for one night.) Both stadiums seem to be reasonably well located, but it's difficult to tell (I've been to Atlanta but don't know it well -- have never been to Jacksonville). I'd love input from those in the know.

Definitely Jacksonville. I live in Atlanta and have been to both stadiums. Unless the Falcons play better this year, there may not be a lot of enthusiasm at the Georgia Dome.

I'd pick Jacksonville. If you want to add golf to your weekend, it is an easy drive to great coastal golf courses - they might even have shuttles. Fall weather is nice too.

J'Ville, stay on Amelia Island & drive in for the game. Atlanta traffic is horrible (& I'm being kind).

I'd choose JAX too, but one problem there is lack of hotels within short walking distance to the stadium. There are a couple, but they'll fill up quickly.

5-0 Jacksonville - it's looking like a landslide. I'm surprised, since Jacksonville doesn't get a lot of attention here, and Atlanta is a pretty popular city. Even having looked at a map, I really don't have a sense of the layout of Jacksonville. I see a couple of hotels on the same side of the river as the stadium, and then a cluster of hotels across the river from the stadium -- are those an option if we don't have a car? How would it factor into your thinking that the Jax game is a Monday night, while the Atlanta game is a Sunday afternoon?

I'd pick Atlanta because I would like to see Michael Vick and if Altanta is no good as previous poster implies, you might get better seats.
