which park in Orlando

In December we will have two full days in Orlando. Which two parks should we pick? Universal Studios, Island of Adventure, Magic Kingdom, or Animal Kingdom??

What type of things do you enjoy? These four parks are all very different. My personal favorite is Islands of Adventure, but your tastes may differ. For information on all four parks, go to www.disboards.com They have a section for WDW parks and one for Universal Parks and Seaworld.

Me and my wife LOVE Universal Studios. Islands of Adventure is cool as well. In between both of those is City Walk, which consists of a bunch of fun bars and restaurants like Margarittaville, Mowtown and everything in between. If your not bringing kids do both the Universal's if you can. Avoid Disney if you don't have little kids.

If you've never been to the Magic Kingdom, then you definitely should visit there first. Second I would pick Universal Studios, especially for older kids and adults. Islands of Adventure is great IF you love roller coasters. Epcot, Animal Kingdom and others would have to be picked according to your specific likes.

I totally disagree that you should avoid Disney if you don't have little kids. My husband and I travel there often (just the 2 of us in our early 30s) and have a great time. We love to eat in the restaurants and shop (me while he sits in the EPCOT beer garden). We do avoid the Magic Kingdom without kids but love EPCOT and the Animal Kingdom.

As the second half of DINK, we love EPCOT, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, then MGM.

On a non-peak day, you can do Islands of adventure in about 5 hours, unless you want to ride something twice. It's hard to make a recommendation without knowing if you like fast paced parks with rollercoasters or something different. A two park hopper pass to Universal and Islands of Adventure would be good for one full day, then I'd recommend Magic Kingdom if you've never been for the other day. Be aware that most of the "rides" at universal are actually simulators of some sort. Anyway, what do you like more, rollercoasters or imagination? And when are you going, exactly. Early December is great, late December is miserable.

My favorites are Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Don't go to Islands of Adventure if you don't like thrill rides. Their rides are wild and will get you SOAKED.
