Which Orlando water park is the best???

My family and I will be in Orlando in October and would like to visit one of the water parks. Our children are 8 and 10. Which park would you recommend? Thanks for any help!!

I've been to both Typhoon Lagoon and
Blizzard Beach which are loacted on
Disney property. The winner with my
family would be blizzard, unanimously !

My family went to Typhoon Lagoon only last spring and loved it. I don't know how good Blizzard Beach is, but Typhoon was beautifully landscaped and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Have fun!

Typhoon Lagoon was closed while we were there last Nov., so I can't compare it, but Blizzard was wonderful! Something for everyone. We also visited River Country in WDW, and while it was cute, I wasn't that impressed....maybe I was just tired, we visited there on our next to last day at DisneyWorld.

Typhoon Lagoon would get our vote. It's not a scary, but it's nicer looking!

Being a Disney Regular; I would recommend Typoon Lagoon. First of all its bigger than Blizzard Beach and there are more things to do. In my opinion the best part was the inner tube river that goes around the park you must go on it.

Blizzard Beach is nice but I would definatly go with Typhoon Lagoon.

Diana

Hello

I would suggest that you go to Wet 'n' Wild on International Drive. It is a great place, with lots of slides and water games. It is cheaper to go after 3 pm, or at least it was in May.
Some of the slides are very scary! One involves you standing on a trap door through which you drop almost vertically onto a slide. The operators of the trap door are a little cruel, making you believe you are about to drop and then not hitting the 'drop' control!

Neither. Head instead for the Gulf or the Atlantic Ocean. Avoid those inland beaches. Ciao.
