Which Orlando resort for my 80 year old parents?
My parents are in their late 80s and have some walking/balance problems. We are taking them to Orlando while my wife has a conference. They will NOT be going to Disney or Sea World. But they enjoy the amenities of a resort hotel. Such as a piano bar, beautiful flower arrangements in the lobby and atrium and they do like to walk through garden areas. We are thinking of these three possibilities and we would really appreciate your suggestions and comments:
(1) Hilton Grand Vaation Club at Sea World
(2) Hilton in Walt Disney World Resort
(3) Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista Resort
Thanks much.

You may want to consider the Contemporary. The train comes right into the hotel so if they want to go into the parks, it is easier. The property (goes up to the lake) is nice for a stroll and the top floor's restaurant is awesome. Great place to watch fireworks too. Good luck to ya...Oh, yea...Old Key Wests property was nice too.

One more thing...I see that you stayed at the Embassy Suites, Lake BV. We are going in Dec. Is it a nice property? We have never been disappointed with the other Emb. S's we've stayed in. Any suggestions?

Haven't been to Disneyworld in a while but when I visited the Polynesian Village Resort I felt like I took a trip to Hawaii. Lake Buenu Vista is there with a beach so they can sun themselves along with there being a luau every night (check on this one, its been a while).

The new JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton in the Grande Lakes resort area. These are the most luxurious hotels to open in Orlando to date and have every amenity. Pricing is competitive with the Orlando market so a bargain if you compare it with comparable resorts elsewhere.
Second choice: Hyatt that was just mentioned.
Third choice: The Grand Floridian at Disney World.
