Yes this is additive, I am suppose to be leaving for Florida in a few hours and I found myself sitting down and clicking on to Fodors. Merry Christmas hope Santa is good to all of you.

Kam -- [email protected]. One of the most knowledgeable posters on the subject of California and the coast. I always wait for her (THINK it's "her") views.

Happy Holidays, Kam -- you've helped me a lot.

I really just want to wish the best of health and happiness to all the regulars and also those who just happent through here once in awhile. Like most folks, I don't get to travel as often as I'd like and this forum provides a welcome escape from daily routine, in addition to serving as a great resource for my travel planning. Although I live in nearby NJ and not in Manhattan, I now consider NYC as my "adopted hometown" (after two years of living here). It's such an incredible and rewarding place to spend time that I truly appreciate having the opportunity to share ideas about activities there and encourage folks who are considering a visit. Also... a speciall holiday hello to Howard R. - IMHO a true gentleman and one of (if not THE) most helpful and considerate regulars on this board.

Howard Dec 23rd, 2001 06:36 AM

Owen, thank you for your gracious comments. I don't know if I deserve them (but I'll accept them!). I'm only too willing to share to joy of New York with others, hoping that they will find visiting our city as much of a positive experience as we do. (I willingly do the same, at times, answering inquiries about some of my other favorite destinations.)
I can easily return an equally glowing comment about you and your obvious willingness to help others fill their days in NYC with happiness, pleasure and a minimum of stress!
The best of the season to you and everyone else!

Happy holidays to that sad human "Willy" who feels the juvenile need to bash things he doesn't like.

Suzie Dec 24th, 2001 08:54 AM

Best wishes to fellow "R" resident Kal and have a great time in beautiful Kauai.

Thanks for all the advice during the year to helpful foderites the world over. Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday season - alone or with family. I'll be happily spending my holiday with family, flaws and all, because I know I wouldn't trade my lot with those suffering the effects of 9/11. Merry Christmas!
