Where did you read this? Sounds funny!

That has been going on for awhile. The last time we were down there, our taxi driver told us that there had been several chicken "shootings." Go to www.thechickenstore.com to read all about it. The Chicken Store is a little store in Key West that helps rescue chickens.

Those chickens are a pain in the butt.

If you go to photos.yahoo.com/scullyyank , I've got a little photo album up of the 2002 Keys trip pix. The very last picture in the main album shows three of the critters in the Key West Library Garden. There are reasons for it, but it's a bit of a shame they're so far from their usual haunts.

Hi Tricia, <BR>Amoray welcomes snorkelers on the dive boat, $25 dollars for adults and not sure about kids. They will take you to the same reef as the divers and show you the shallow points, most are never over 50 - 60 feet in the deep, where you can really enjoy snorkeling. You can come and go from the boat while the divers are down, about 50 minutes per tank. The do two tank dives at two different sites. So you get about two hours of snorkeling. Amoray Resort is within a mile of the land entrance to Pennekamp. Pennekamp is now part of the Key Largo Marine Sanctuary. Amoray also has a great pool, small beach, kayaks to use in the bay and hammocks. Enjoy.

I do reef surveys throughout the Florida Keys and Bahamas, and have acculmulated shallow reef sites off theinternet and from own experience. If you want a copy, let me know. Most are in the keys. Too lengthy to show here. Robert

I would love more info on where to snorkle. Are there any places on the Gulf coast of Florida or northern areas or do you have to go all the way to the Keys. I love the Keys and we snorkled there last year at Looe Key and Pennycamp. Would love to know if there are any closer places.
