Which Hotel In New Orleans; The W in CBD, Iberville Suites, The Wyndham, Le Meridien
Please help in choosing a hotel in New Orleans. We have seen good reviews on all of the above hotels. Have heard the martini bar in the W was a place to see , but the Wyndham on Canal looks so elegant. Been to NO lots of times and always looking to improve on accomodations. Visited Sheraton, Marriot, Doubletree, Garden District. Thanks

I would suggest The Iberville Suites, or a Wyndham, the Whitney is nice. Maison Orleans is really nice and pricey. It only has a continental breakfast. Visit their web sites, www.maisonorleans.com and www.ibervillesuites.com. Good luck and enjoy you stay!

yes, le meridien has a very nice bar/llounge area. we stayed there last month with several other couples and we all agreed that we would stay there again next time. it is very lovely with a wonderful location. we got a better rate there than at the wyndham, which is also supposed to be wonderful. iberville suites and the W in CBD did not seem to be as well located or as convenient as either the wydham or le meridien.

The Ritz, Iberville Suites, and Maison Orleans are all in the same complex. They are all managed by Ritz Carlton, albeit with different themes.
THe Ritz is a classic Ritz; Iberville Suites is all suites; and Maison Orleans is a Ritz boutique with privileges to use all Ritz facilities.
