Which Hotel?

Our extended family will be going to DC this Thanksgiving. The hotels we're considering are: JW Marriott, Metro Marriott and the Hilton Gardens at Franklin Square. We'd like a hotel convenient to the metro, indoor pool, and really nice... any other suggestions?
Thanks!

The best hotel of your three choices is undoubtedly the JW Marriott. Best location (walk to mall, monuments, museams) also one block to metro center, which is servd by 3 major subwway lines. It is also the most luxurious. While the JW Marriott is probably slightly more expensive than the the other two, for the above reasons I would say it is worth it.

Just an FYI on the JW Marriott -- there are currently some OUTSTANDING rates available there.

Last week I booked a room there at $101/night using the marriott.com web site. Just needed to click the little box for using the American Express card and you get 15 percent off the best rates (in my case, their "Come Out and Play" promo rate).

At $101 per night, the JW Marriott is an INCREDIBLE deal for D.C.

Just a heads up for anyone who can use the tip...

Have fun!

The JW is very nice but, if you're interested in a Marriott due to Marriott Reward points, etc., you should also look at the Renaissance Mayflower on Conn. Avenue. VERY nice hotel and great location. Renaissance is part of the Marriott chain.

Thanks for the info... we (about 15 of us) will be staying at the JW for $109 per night at Thanksgiving time.
