Lunch in Margate, NJ

I'm not familiar with Margate, NJ but will be in town to host a business luncheon on a Tuesday. Do you know a place with really good food that serves a weekday lunch? Thanks in advace. Your help is appreciated.

Point taken njsusan. Was hopeful we could stay in Margate but it doesn't seem as if there are many options. Casinos won't work for this group.
Do you have a restaurant to suggest in A.C.? Thanks.

The restaurants in Margate that I have been to only serve dinner.
In A.C. non casino how about Angelo's
http://www.angelosfairmounttavern.com/.
My husband attends a meeting there monthly so they do that kind of thing.
The Pier at Caesars has many places- pub/sportsbar to upscale and I think they are all open for lunch.

If you want to stay in Margate, Downbeach Deli and Ventura's Greenhouse are both fantastic.

The deli has great sandwiches but no liquor. Ventura's has a wide variety of seafood, sandwiches and Italian specialties and a liquor license.

You can find them both on this Web site:

You guys are fantastic.

Called Ventura's. They're still open and they do lunch.

Someone else suggested the Downbeach Deli so suddenly I have options.

Also found Angelo's mentioned elsewhere. More possibilities where I thought none existed.

Thanks very much!!

I don't believe Tomatoe's ( that's how they spell it ) is open for lunch although it is a great place for dinner.

By the way, Ventura's is right on the beach.

Want to say thanks to all of you who responded.

Given the options, our little group decided to try the Downbeach Deli. Absolutely no regrets.

All the best.......GBC
