Which Florida Key for one month stay with infant?

We're planning on staying in the Florida Keys for about a month in January, which island is good? We are mostly interested in nature walks, close to a grocery store for diapers, fresh fish to cook at home, manatees/wildlife, and accessibility to other attractions in the Keys so we can explore it all while we are there.

Key West is the only Island I would stay in, the rest get very boring after a week imo. If you don't have a boat especially boring. Key West has an old town feeling and a lot to explore by foot or bike.
