Which FL beach and resort is for me?
hello. i'm traveling my parents and my sister who has a 4 month old baby to FL at the end of May. Looking for a nice resort where we can get a 2 or 3 bedroom suite/condo for about $300 a night. Would prefer a beach not overrun with teenagers - with some nightlife and watersports that can occupy us during the day. Any suggestions?

Try Fort Myers Beach/ Sanibel Island. Not very crowded. Very laid back atmosphere.

Naples and Sanibel are both quiet, nice, relaxing, and don't have teenage/ college crowd. Never been but lots of Miami folks go up to northeast Florida coast, near St.Augustine where the beaches are still nice. The further southeast you get the less real beaches you get. The west coast has nicer sand and more waves.

If you happen to enjoy waves, go to the east coast. There is no surf on the west coast.

My votes for Fr Myers/Sanibel. Beautiful beaches.

Please don't confuse Ft Myers Beach with Sanibel. Night and day.FMB is a nasty, crowded, overdeveloped beach area. Sanibel is lovely- not much nightlife- especially in May. I would suggest looking at Sandpiper Tradewinds in St Pete or a similar property. There's a lot to do in that area- but it's not overrun w/kids like lauderdale or Daytona. You only have to trolley to other beaches/nightspots- very convenient.
