Which day for Broadway matinee?
On which days (Sat/Sun/Wed?) are matinees offered on Broadway? And where do you go for the daily half price tickets? Assuming a matinee is at 3:pm, at what time would the tix be available? Thanks for any leads!

Matinees are performed on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.....2 p.m. for the first two and 3 p.m. for Sunday.
TKTS opens at 10 a.m. in Times Square. There is also a TKTS booth downtown in Battery Park, where you can get Wednesday matinee tickets on Tuesday. And, I think, you can get Saturday matinee tickets on Friday....but I'm not sure about that. |
This has been changing somewhat lately - I understand that Lion King now has both a 1pm matinee and a 6pm show on Suns. so I woud check out the shows you are interested in for details.

Based on the original poster's comments, I assumed that he/she was only interested in shows having discounted tickets available. All those shows have 3 p.m. matinees on Sundays. Tickets for The Lion King definitely will NOT be available anywhere.
