Which Chicago Courtyard?
Hi - I'm looking at a 1 bed Queen Room at the Mag Mile Courtyard or a King room at the Courtyard Downtown on Hubbard for the same price. I'm not too concerned with the bed size itself but I'm wondering if the 1 bed Queen rooms are very small since that Courtyard also has 1 bed King rooms for a higher rate. From what I've read the Mag Mile Courtyard is nicer but if anyone can compare the rooms (and water pressure if you know) I'd really appreciate it. Also I could save a few more bucks and stay at the Fairfield, any comments on that compared to one of the Courtyards? Thanks!

Third try topping this so apologies if it ends up having multiple posts! |
Topping one more time ... I think its going to be the Mag Mile Courtyard based on comments I got posting on flyertalk but I'd still love to hear from any fodorites that have stayed in these rooms. Thanks!

Ok - I decided to use points and I have a reservation now at the Mag Mile Courtyard for a king room ... any requests I should make for side of the hotel, floor to be on etc? Any recent reviews?
Also - I'm interested in the restaurant Hot Chocolate in Bucktown ... anyone been? Is the area worth a visit? Wuold like to go for lunch but we have limited time and there is so much we want to see! Thanks - Mary |
I haven't been to Hot Chocolate but if you go to www.metromix.com and do a search for Hot Chocolate there are several user reviews
And here's a review on Center Stage http://centerstagechicago.com/restau...chocolate.html And some more info on Bucktown http://centerstagechicago.com/neighb.../bucktown.html |
Thanks Kristi. I'd seen the metromix reviews but that CenterStage website looks great ... I'll be spending some time researching there! :)
