Which Character Dining Restaurant?

We're heading back to Disney and need some advice. We've done the character dining before and want to try it again but at a different restaurant. We've already done Chef Mickey's (twice), Crystal Palace, Garden Grill and 1900 Park Fare. I don't think we'll be going to Animal Kingdom this time so Restaurantosaurus isn't on our list. Can anyone recommend another great Character dining experience? We have a boy and girl (ages 10 and 8). Thanks a bunch!

Can't think of the exact name of the restuarant but it's in the MK in Liberty Square with family style dining and it was really fun. All the characters are in colonial dress.

We were just in Disney in Jan. and took our 19 month old to Chef Mickey which she loved. Some other folks that were with us, took their girls (older) to Cinderella's Castle and they said that it was very nice. Our daughter does not know the 'princesses' yet, so we opted for a Mickey/Minnie Mouse experience. I love the character breakfasts ... a must do for us each time we visit. Have fun.

What about the hoopty do review? (I know the spelling is wrong). Its at fort wilderness and supposed to be a lot of fun.

Correction - the place at Ft Wilderness is Mickeys Backyard BBQ for character dining. Hoop Dee Doo is just a wild west type of entertainment but both are buffet, all you can eat.

We're just back from a chaotic trip to Orlando and had to comment on our character dining experience. We went to Liberty Square and were pleasantly surprised. They allowed us to take our time and enjoy ourselves! We were there for two hours! The food was excellent and so was the service. On a day where the Magic Kingdom closed at 1:30 because there were too many people in the park, it was a welcomed surprise! Other than our experience at Liberty Square, our overall experience in Magic Kingdom was a crowded disappointment.

We went to the ice cream social at Epcot (Garden Grill) and it was just okay. We enjoyed seeing the characters but the ice cream wasn't good (it was old...full of ice crystals). If you want to see the characters at a meal but don't want to pay more than $10...I'd recommend doing this....just don't expect great ice cream.
