Which Asheville Hotel for One Night?

We're going to the Biltmore for a late candlelight tour in a few weeks and need a hotel for just one night. We are looking for something convenient, clean and comfortable.

If the price for the following two hotels was the same - which one should we opt for?

The Holiday Inn - Biltmore East

or

The Doubletree/ Biltmore

Thanks!

Doubletree is two minutes from the gate. HI Biltmore East is a two-three miles away and is not close at all, also it is located in a very commercial busy area. There is HI Express located on Henderson Road across the street from Doubletree. Both HIE and Doubletree are very convenient for your visit to the estate. HI Biltmore East not close at all. It is named Biltmore East because of its location around Biltmore Mall and not proximity to Biltmore Estate.

HIE is located on Hendersonville Road (not Henderson Rd.).

Doubletrees are usually much nicer than Holiday Inns.

Thank you. I'll try and book the Doubletree then.
