Howard, Manhattan is only 1 mile wide at the widest point (23rd St) so getting from midtown to the piers does not take all that much time and money. I think a fair estimate would be $7-$10 from the far east side and of course less from some of the hotels in say the Times Square area. <BR> <BR>I take cabs ALL the time here, and we still come back to Newark is more expensive and takes longer than flying into LaGuardia.
