Which airport in Houston, TX?

Can anyone help me out with a quick question?

I need to travel next week to Houston and am trying to look up fares, but I see there are 2 airports listed on the travel sites. Which one is the "main" airport - Hobby or Bush? (I'm guessing this is like Chicago O'hare vs Midway, where O'hare is the "main" one). Any other comments about these airports?
TIA!
JC

The unfortunately named "Bush" is the main airport in Houston, I believe.

Intercontinental Airport (Bush) is the larger airport and is a Continental Airlines hub. The smaller and older (and dingier!) airport is Hobby, which is a Southwest hub. Hobby is closer to downtown and most Houston attractions, so cabs to hotels are cheaper.

Hobby Airport is easier to get in and out of. And it is closer to mid-town Houston and also to the Galleria Area.

It depends on where you are going. Bush (Intercontinental) is on the far north side of Houston. Hobby is on the south side near downtown. As Sam said, if it is downtown, Galleria, NASA, Galveston go to Hobby.
