which airport in DC to fly into

One more DC question please! Planning a trip to DC w my 5 yo daughter to meet up with friends. we are staying in dupont circle. Which airport is the best/easiest one to fly into? Delta from my area flies into Reagan National. United from my area flies into Dulles. Flight times and prices are the same essentially.

This is easy - DCA Reagan National.

DCA is right across the river from DC as opposed to an hour's drive. It also has a Metro stop right at the airport. I would suggest DCA even if it cost up to $100 more to fly there as you can save the $50 taxi ride from Dulles each way (plus the enormous time savings). The fact that the times and prices are essentially the same makes it a no brainer.

Excellent! Thank you so much!

Absolutely ditto. Reagan is one of two airports in the US I'm willing to change planes to fly into (the other being LaGuardia).
