Which airport for Williamsburg?
 

We want to be in Williamsburg the last week of May. We will be flying from Chicago and renting a car. Which airport would be our best bet money wise?

Three you could use for comparison shopping:

PHF (Hampton-Newport News)..perhaps closest

ORF Norfolk

RIC Richmond

Go with Norfolk. My friends who went to William and Mary would use Norfolk airport.

Dukey is correct, all three are close. Pick one based on price and flight time. That's what we do when we are flying out. If everything is equal the order of preference is:
PHF-Newport News/Williamsburg 25 min away
RIC-Richmond 45 min away
ORF-Norfolk the same distance as Richmond but a much greater liklihood of encountering traffic
