Where's that special place for an anniversary dinner in Sedona?

Hi there, We'll be in Sedona in January and wondering where we might dine for a romantic evening. Something intimate, maybe with a view...

Any ideas?

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and nice wines at Yavapi Restaurant at Enchantment Resort. It's in Boynton Canyon which is 10 minutes from the main part of town. I'm not sure what kind of views you'll have at dinner time since sunset is probably around 5.

The restaurant at L'Auberge was very nice but no view in January. Warm weather you can sit out by Oak Creek.

Rene was nice. The inside decor was stale and the food was alright. Not great. But, this was several years ago so hopefully others will chime in on it.

we love the Enchantment resort at Yavapai too..we go for lunch so you can see the gorgeous red rocks with the floor to ceiling windows..great wine list.
Garland's Lodge is another wonderful place and we really enjoy Dahl and DiLuca for great Italian.
L'Auberge is great and we enjoy it for brunch.
Cafe Elote for Southwestern..open for dinner only.
It will be cold and there maybe snow.
Happy Anniversary!

We still talk about a dinner we had at Auberge about 20 years ago; we let the maitre ' d and the sommelier handle everything! The bill was impressive, but we were both working, and it was worth it.

Thank you all. These are beautiful options. Thank you ksucat for the anniversary wishes. It'll be our sixth!

Well, happy anniversary! I didn't see that in your post.

http://www.lauberge.com/ This IS the place to go, I would place it as one of the top 5 meals I have ever had, ever.

You are going to need to eat early to get a view in January, because it gets dark very early. Maybe change the 'view" dinner to a lunch instead- and try Shugrue's Hillside cafe. Great views off the patio, and it usually warms up enough to eat outside by mid-day even in January (they ahve outdoor heaters for the patio).

For dinner, Cucina Rustica is really wonderful. Lovely atmosphere, attentive service, great food. We have had special dinners and even a New Years Eve dinner there and never have been disappointed, always love it.

I would do l'auberge for brunch..Yavapai for dinner but go early for sunset cocktails and then dinner.
It is very cold in January..

Cucina Rustica and Dahl & Deluca - both owned by the same family - are excellent. Have had two of the best meals I've ever had at them.

How is the weather end of September and what time does it get dark? How about views at that time of year? Thank you.
