Where would you have dinner at Treasure Island?

Is the Steak House here good? How about approx. price? I couldn't find menus online. We are going to Mystere, so planning on dining here, somewhere. Thank you for any info. Have a nice weekend.

I'd go to the Mirage.

Where would you eat at Mirage? Is Kokomo's good? This seems the most appealing to me, or Samba? Are these places very expensive? I would like to have a good meal, but the $ spent on dinner, comes out of my gambling budget, so I don't want to break the bank! Thank you!

I ate at the Buccaneer Bay restaurant although it has been a few years. It was fantastic and we had a window seat with a few of the pirate ship show. I remember very good lobster bisque and souffle to this day! It was a bit dressy but nothing formal.

The best value meal at either TI or Mirage, would be the buffets. They are both decent. Mirage a little more but has unlimited crab legs.

TI also has a good coffee shop. I agree the buffets are good also. A few years ago we tried the Italian restaurant @ TI, not very impressed.

I appreciate the suggestions, but we really aren't looking for a buffet. We would like to have a nice sit-down dinner before the show. I was just wondering if Kokomo's or any other restaurant you would recommend would be more than say $30/person without drinks. Thank you.

I'm with you Emily, I hate buffets. I just choose not to stand in line for food!

At Kokomo's we had the surf and turf so it was a bit spendy but I think $30 ea. w/o drinks would be about right.

Kokomo's was very tropical where as Buccaneer Bay is very wood and leather interior. I liked BB better but that was just my take.

btw you are going to love Cirque du Soleil! Just went to another of their shows here in Seattle 2 days ago. They are fantastic!
If you want a REALLY good steak, you can go across the street to Delmonico's in the Venetian.

It's owned by Emeril, so you can find info at www.emeril.com

It's a little pricey, but FABULOUS!!

Enjoy--and Mystere is great too!

If you're a movie fan go across the street to the WB Stage 16 restaurant in the Venetian. Choose the Casablanca Room, The Ocean's Eleven Room etc. Great food, not overpriced like Bucc Bay (for what you get), unique atmosphere that you won't get at any restaurant back home.

Samba and Kokomo's are both good too, all 3 are in the $30 - $35 range.

Hi Emily
I posted to your other samba topic, but having now read your preferences, Yes,
stay away from the Mirage buffet. It was simply awful. Apparently 60% of the people think that too.
Anyway, Kokomos was a lot more pricy than Samba Grill, because I looked at their menu when we were there and I believe the Filet Mignon was around $40,and that didn't include mashed potatoes (additional $7) and veggies were separately priced. I hear it's good though.
Samba Grill was festive. You must have reservations though. Our total tab was $90, which included the all you can eat menu ($29 p.p.) and a pitcher of maragaritas and tax and tip. I think I posted that the price was $39 p.p.
Now I recollect that it was $29 p.p.
If you don't want the all you can eat menu, you can order a simple entree, but it's only a couple of bucks cheaper
though. Mystere is wonderful. Seen it
4 times. Just saw 'O' last month
Buccaneer Bay was good too. But haven't
eaten there since 1996

You've got four threads going about this damn dinner.

Pick a place and EAT already!
