Where to take a son turning 18

My son is turning 18 the end of July and he's actually agreed to go on one last vacation with me. We will only be going for 2 nights. Does anyone have any suggestions. He's been to SFO, NYC, SEA, and USVI. Thanks for any quick responses before he backs out!
Take him on a white water rafting trip on the biggest river you can find. The Colorado is the best of course, but you may not be able to get a trip at this short notice. Maybe you'll get lucky and get a cancellation. Check out Western River Expeditions in Salt Lake City.
Thanks Fran. I hadn't even thought of that. He would love it!
Hi DJ, as of a month ago there was still white water rafting in Yosemite. The Merced River has been classified as a 5, so you might be happier if it's calmed down a bit by now. There's lots to do in Yosemite for an 18 year old--hiking, riding, climbing etc. You would need to get accomodations outside the park because it's all full inside by now.

Thanks Kam for the suggestion. Rafting sounds like something he and I both might enjoy. Time to get him "back to nature" since he's so wrapped up in the ATL scene. To be 18 again...ha..no thanks!
