Where to stop between Natchez Mississippi and Little Rock

I will be driving from Natchez to Little Rock and probably will want to stop for one night along the way. If I leave Natchez in the morning, drive part of the Natchez Trace, then cut over to Vicksburg to visit there for a few hours before continuing north ... where might I stay overnight? HOw long do you think it will take to get to Little Rock if I were driving straight through? I realize there is a scenic route and the faster route and would welcome any thoughts / must sees / advice on that also!

I don't believe there is any place of particular interest, but, if you like B&B's you may find a place to stay along the way at this site: http://www.arkansasbedandbreakfast.com

The drive between Natchez and Vicksburg is 75 miles and it takes about two hours. It is then 221 miles to Little Rock--a 5-hour drive.

The drive between Natchez and Little Rock, without the Vicksburg detour, is 258 miles and takes 6 1/2 hours.
