Where to stay, what to do,...
 

In August, we will be traveling from NE Pennsylvania to Pigeon Forge TN. It is a 9 hrs/600 miles adventure. We are looking to stop in West Virginia on Saturday to sight see and stay overnight. We will continue out trip to TN around noon, since we cannot check in until 4pm.

Need some suggestions on where to stay and what to see. 4 adults and 3 children ages 8, 8, and 12

Would like to be about 4.5 hours into the trip when we stop. Thinking around Lexington, WV would be 1/2 way..

I think you have your states mixed up, you won't be going through WV. And Lexington is in VA, not WV. You're coming down I81, right?

I did realize that later that night. Yes, straight shot from PA to TN on 81..

looks like natural bridge will be perfect. Just looking for something quick to see on our break.
