As Donovan sang over thirty years ago, a Cubs-Red Sox series is like "trying to catch the wind."

It's divine intervention, the Red Sox will win tonight. Clemens last game will be a loss to his REAL team. Pedro will quiet the yankee bum crowd early. And beat of all,we wont have to listen to Bret Boone any longer.

Bennie..Reminiscent of the AFC championship in '86. I am confident in the Sox chances tonight. They wont beat Pedro twice. I got a bachelor party in Boston Saturday night which would be game 1 at Fenway,Not sure if I would rather stay home and watch the game or brave the city crowds.

hey doc, I wouldn't assume Pedro is a lock against the Yankees. He is only 4-4 against them the last 3 years.

If a fat old man charges him again,I'm sure he will protect himself and deflect him to the ground, harmlessly.

Sox batters should be concerened about Clemens throwing shattered bats at them. (how is your memory,Rachelle?)

Ryan..Clemens will be weak. They had him on the ropes early before that 3rd failed hit/run. Look for them to avoid that. The Sox bats are ALIVE and Clemens will be gone early so the ineffective bullpen of the Yankees will allow the Sox to the world series.

To paraphrase Yogi: "Why worry about the Red Sox. We've been kicking those guys as*es for years."

Yeah, I'm sure Pedro was afraid of an out of shape old man! He's a hothead!

Its amazing how sanctimonious the Yankees fan became on Saturday. Clemens is the biggest headhunter in pro baseball. If he didn't have that reputation then Manny would never have over-reacted. If Zimmer wants to get on someone about throwing at someone's head he only needs to look to his own bench.

Doc - at least you'll be in Boston. I'm going to New York for the weekend. Supposed to go to a Broadway show on Saturday night. I'd rather be heading to the Riveria.
