My husband and I just returned from a trip to Sedona. We stayed at Enchantment Resort and absolutely loved it. It is quite pricey - but the scenery, food and accomodations were absolutely top notch. I belive that their website is www.enchantmentresort.com. Good luck!

1) How much do you want to spend?

2) What are you trying to get out of your 2 days and one night there?

I would highly recommend the Enchantment Resort. My husband and I stayed there for a couple of nights on a recent trip, and it was well worth the cost. The bathrooms are huge, with beautiful tile. The outdoor eating area adjacent to the restaurant/lounge has the most awesome views of the mountains... a great backdrop!

We just returned from Sedona and we stayed at Los Agbrigados Lodge. The Lodge is conveniently located right in the middle of downtown, yet has the most wonderful red rock views. The suite like room was immaculate and the price was right @$75 per night. They are asociated with the los Abrigados Resort and Spa (a beautiful time share property) but are not attached to it. It was well worth it and I highly recommend it.
Have a wonderfl time and scope as much as you can in your time frame. You will return.

We stayed at the Sky Ranch Lodge and loved it. It is a large motel complex high above the town near the airport. The rooms were simple but clean and spacious, the grounds were beautiful, and the best view in town was about 500' from the motel entrance. Rooms ran about $100 a night. It's only drawback was that it was about 15 minutes to drive into town.

I stayed at the Sky Ranch Lodge last year with my mom and sister last April and loved it.

If you're looking for a resort, this is not the place for you. It's comfortably distant from the busy downtown part of Sedona. (We didn't want to stay there.) The grounds are impressively manicured and the staff was extremely friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable but not posh. You have a nice view of the gorgeous Sedona landscape here because the lodge is situated up high.

Not sure what kind of place you'd like to go to eat, but we ate fantastic pizza at a place called Pizza Picasso. We ended up here out of desperation and really loved the pizza. (Not to mention the wine and a decadent dessert.) It's a chain restaurant and we detected that as soon as we entered, but the pizza looked so good we decided to stay. We were very glad we did!
