Well...I am going to throw my hat into this by saying I think the Hyatt Regency on the Embaracdero is a great hotel and a great location. Icee is the queen of priceline, but I think is can be had as a 4 star. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the Ferry Building and the Bay. Really nice. It is a large concrete monolith that is the antithesis of a boutique place like the Monaco, but I like it.
