Where to stay in Ouray or nearby?

Would love to see this corner of the state!
Not sure where to begin w/lodging however along the roads in this area.

We like classic lodges or nice B & B's.
Or, historic hotels. Not really into condo's or the like. Thanks!

daydreamer,
We really enjoyed our stay in Ouray and we stayed at an inn that had a hot springs-fed pool which was wonderful. We also loved its location a few blocks off of the main street. It was called the Wiesbaden Hot Springs Inn. Our room was smallish but nice. We chose it because they have a vapor cave below the inn. Really cool! If you have kids, it may not be the place to stay. Seemed there were only adults there, which was nice. Great place.

The Belmont Hotel is historic, and recently re-opened.

We stayed at the Box Canyon Lodge last September for 3 nights. Our room was just a hotel room, 2 beds, table, tv etc. But they have a suite which looked really nice. It's quiet, off the beaten track and other than the Weisbaden, is the only accomodations in town with rights to their own mineral springs tubs. It's very nice, real close to the Box Canyon and you can hear the Box Canyon Falls at night. I'd stay there any time. Very clean and the owners are great. We went in the Belmont. I used to manage a historic house museum and this place was restored magnificently. It's just wonderful. Didn't see the rooms but if the lobby is any indication....
