Where to stay in Laguna Beach
Will be visiting Laguna Beach July 26-29 to atttend the art festivals and Pagent of the Masters. Any suggestions on where to stay. Looking for a hotel in the price range of $200.00.

I loved the Laguna Beach Inn when I stayed there. Very nice decor, right on the beach.

I love the Ritz Carlton out there...but it is probably out of your current price range.

surf & sand but probably out of your price range. the town gets very busy during the pagent. you may not have much choice at this late date. try to stay right in town so you don't have to drive. or check out hotels in dana point - just down the road.

I will be staying overnight in Laguna on the 26th as well ... to see the Pageant of the Masters! We are staying at the Laguna Brisas Spa Hotel. It is not as pricey as some of the others ... probably b/c it is just across the street from the water ... but it looks very nice. Take a look at their website:

http://www.lagunabrisas.com/

Maybe I will see you there!

It would be really wonderful if you could post a review of your experience at the Laguna Brisas. I have reservations for the Laguna Brisas in September. Thanks.

amy, how was your stay at Laguna Brisas hotel? I've read in a couple places that the rooms are really old and not very clean. Just wanted to make sure that my stay there will be okay. Thanks for the information :)

Anyone going to Laguna Beach should know that those hotels with odd numbered addresses are on the ocean side and those with even are across busy Coast hwy. So, if you're on the ocean side, request a room on the ocean and if you're on the east side of Coast Hwy, request a room in the back of the hotel. It can be very noisy. Otherwise, Laguna is great.

If you want Laguna reservations you'd better get cracking. If not possible look into Newport Beach or Dana Point
