Where to stay in Glacier N P
 

Where to stay in Glacier National Park? Coming from Yellowstone, we'll have 5 or 6 days at Glacier and flying home from Messoula Montana. Should we stay in one place or at several? Thanks for your help.

I would stay a night or two on the east side and then go over the Going to the Sun road to the west side.

Having been to all the major places, I'd spend the first three nights at Many Glacier Lodge, then move to Jenny Lodge (is that the right name) for the other three nights.

Huh? Jenny Lodge is in the Tetons! I meant McDonald Lodge at the western end of Glacier.

Thanks a lot. I will plan to stay on the east at Many Glaciers or what about St Mary's lodge, the new one call great bear or something like that?
