Where to stay in Ft. Walton Beach?
 

My wife and I will be spending Christmas in Ft. Walton Beach. Am looking for suggestions of places to stay nearby. Either B&B, hotel or condo are okay. Mainly want to be sure the place is clean and well maintained. Thanks.

If you don't mind staying in Santa Rosa Beach (which is about 10 miles or so away), I can recommend a wonderful condo to you. I stayed there myself a few weeks ago. I couldn't have asked for better. Hi again!<BR>I agree with Traci! Skip FWB (sorry fellow residents) and head to 30-A area.<BR>Besides Gulf Place, there is a B and B in Santa Rosa Beach and a fabulous B and B in Seaside (but pricey) called Josephine's)

We love Fort Walton Beach. Last time we stayed in a studio at Islander Beach Resort. Ask for 3rd floor or higher and you can sit on the balcony and watch the dolphins play. Check it out at http://www.destin-fwb.com/link.cfm?l.../islander.html
