Thanks again for all the posts. I've seen Artu's, Giacomo's, Daily Catch and Modern Pastry mentioned several times so we'll try those. I think there is a Legal Seafoods across the street from our hotel, so maybe that will be the place to go the first night, followed by Shear Madness which sounds like a lot of fun. We should still have plenty of energy as we'll be coming from two hours earlier. I think the Duck would be fun too. Thanks, all! Now, I'll just have to look at maps and wait for that all important Red Sox schedule to be posted. Let's hope they play better than they have the last couple games! I wish they were going with Beckett tonight!

Marie, thanks for the tip! We walked by the Daily Catch, but it was so tiny, and all the tables were full - looks like we missed out. I will definitely give it a try next time.

Speaking just to the possible tours -- the Duck Tours are great for covering a lot of ground in a little time. I went on one after just moving to the city, and am in my mid-20's, and had a great time. The drivers are great, know everything about the city and its history, and you can't help but have fun. Support the original though, as another company just came in to Boston and it's just not the same. http://www.bostonducktours.com/ (Buy your tix online in advance -- they sell out quickly when the weather is nice)

The Freedom Trail is great as well. If your husband can't walk very far, you may want to avoid the guided tour because you can to set your own place. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, etc along the way if you need to stop and rest. While I'm sure the tour is helpful, you can go inside most of the stops and there are plenty of signs along the way.

Have a great trip!!!
